If the jingle of dog tags at 2am is slowly driving you out of your mind, this is the fix.
This tag slips on over the end of the collar instead of dangling from a ring. No jingle when your pet moves, and no split ring fastener to break or wear out — the tag stays on the collar until you take it off.
Check your collar first
This will not work with clip-style collars. One end of the collar must be narrow enough to fit through the slots on the tag. That is the one thing people get wrong, so measure before you order.
How ours are made
Stamped from solid stainless steel or brass, then deep engraved with our industrial laser to create a mark that will never fade or rub off. Backed by a lifetime guarantee: if it ever becomes unreadable, we replace it at no charge.
Why the cheap ones fail
Many inferior tags use CO2 lasers on anodized aluminum, which does not cut into the tag, so the marking rubs off with normal wear. Stamped tags can go illegible after a few years. Our industrial laser deep engraves text and images that will not wear or fade.
What to put on it
Keep it short and sweet: pet name and your phone number, with any emergency or health-specific information on the bottom line. You can specify a font of your choice in [brackets] with your text, but simple and readable wins.
Turnaround
We do our best to have it in the mail within 1–2 business days.
Common questions
Why do silent dog tags matter?
Beyond your own sanity at night: a jingling tag is a constant low-level annoyance for the dog too, and dangling tags catch on crates, fences, and furniture. A flat slide-on tag has nothing to snag.
Will it fit my dog's collar?
If one end of the collar is narrow enough to thread through the slots, yes. Clip-style collars will not work — there is no free end to slide the tag onto.
Can it fall off?
There is no split ring to open up or wear through, which is the usual failure point. Once it is on the collar it stays there until you slide it off.
Does it still hold enough text?
Name and phone number comfortably, with a bottom line for medical or emergency details.
