One tag, three metals, and a guarantee that outlasts most of what you own.
Our premium GI dog tags are cut from high quality solid metal in your choice of stainless steel, brass, or titanium, then deep engraved with our industrial marking laser. The result is a clean, detailed marking that will not fade, rub off, or deteriorate — backed by a lifetime guarantee. If the engraving ever wears off or becomes unreadable with normal use, we replace it at no charge.

Sizing and text
The tags are a generous 1x2", which leaves ample room for text. For identification use, keep it short: name, phone number, and any emergency or health information. You can specify a font of your choice in [brackets] with your text.
We do our best to have it in the mail within 1–2 business days.
Choosing your metal
Brass
A naturally softer metal with a timeless look. Over time brass may tarnish and develop an aged patina — this is natural, and you can polish it off with products from any hardware store. Worn against skin, brass mixed with moisture such as sweat may leave a dark spot.
Stainless steel
Durable and hypoallergenic, resists wear and corrosion, and generally considered safe for skin contact. It will not stain or mark skin with prolonged contact, and can be polished with standard hardware store products if it gets scratched or dull.
Titanium
As light as aluminum and as strong as steel. Naturally grey, and inert — it will not react to sweat or to acidic or salty conditions. When you want the ultimate in durability, solvent resistance, and all-around cool factor, this is the one.
Common questions
Are these real GI-spec dog tags?
They are the same familiar 1x2" format, made better — solid metal, deep laser engraved rather than stamped, in metals the issued version never came in.
Can I use one as a medical ID?
Many people do, and it is one of the most practical uses. Put the condition, the medication, and an emergency contact on it. Deep engraving means a paramedic can still read it years from now.
Which metal is best against skin?
Stainless or titanium. Both are hypoallergenic and neither will mark your skin. Brass can leave a dark spot when mixed with sweat.
Can I get a chain with it?
Ask when you order and we will sort you out.
