Two hundred and fifty years of American independence deserves to be marked on an American classic.
This is the same Buck 110 your grandfather and father carried, made right here in the USA — now with our exclusive America 250th commemorative design and a majestic American eagle engraved on the blade. The 110 has been in pockets around the world for over 60 years. There has never been a better time to put one in yours.
The blade
The centerpiece is an American eagle engraved on the blade for the nation's 250th anniversary. Our process does not affect the surface quality of the knife, and the engraved design comes out a deep, rich black against the polished 420HC steel. The reverse side can be personalized with a name, date, or short message — the right move for the veteran, patriot, or collector in your life.
Brass bolsters
Beautifully polished scrollwork, almost indistinguishable from hand engraving, at a fraction of the cost. Available on one or both sides, with the option to replace one bolster scroll with a monogram or initials inlaid with scrollwork.
Handle
The ebony handles have a large area for a name or text. Dark engraving on dark wood makes this a subtle option — pair it with color inlay using acrylic paints if you want high contrast.
About the 110 Folding Hunter
Brass bolsters with genuine Crelicam™ ebony handle scales and a razor-sharp clip point 3 3/4" (9.5 cm) 420HC stainless steel blade. Locks securely open with a lock back design, folds to 4 7/8" (12.4 cm) closed, and includes a genuine black leather sheath for belt carry (sheath imported).
Please note: natural handle materials carry nature's own "brandmarks." These are not flaws but natural variation — colors and markings differ from handle to handle.
A little history
Buck's Folding Hunter was created in 1963 when Al Buck decided outdoorsmen needed a sturdy locking blade knife without the bulk of a fixed blade. After a series of refinements the Model 110 was unveiled, and within six months it was the hottest knife in the industry.
Common questions
What is the semiquincentennial?
The 250th anniversary of American independence. It is the reason this edition exists, and it is not an anniversary that comes back around.
Is the eagle design exclusive to you?
It is our own America 250th design, engraved in our shop on a standard USA-made Buck 110.
Can I still personalize it?
Yes. The eagle takes one side of the blade; the reverse can carry a name, a date, or a short message. Bolster and handle options are available too.
Will this be available after the anniversary?
It is tied to the 250th. Once the moment passes, so does the reason to make it.
